Hangover Help

I know a certain person who drank a pre dinner gin the other night. This was followed by half a bottle (probably more because they aren’t very good at sharing) of white wine. There was some oolong before cognac.
In a state of exhilaration and being briefly in Cornwall this person thought a pint of Cornish ale would be a fine ending to the evening. If you’ve ever been to Cornwall you’ll know that the beer is excellent. If you’ve ever had a gin followed by wine followed by cognac you’ll know that it’s enough - no matter how good the beer might be.

This person should have had a horrible hangover and, indeed, they woke very early to the squawk of seagulls feeling rather unpleasant. However, this person always travels with silver tip tea. Brushing aside the hotel sachets of bad tea bags to make an early pot of white silver tip, this person reclined on the pillows with a fragrant cup.

Silver tip tea is comprised entirely of leaf buds that have not opened to the sun and so not begun to photosynthesise, making them very low in harsh tannins and caffeine. Being the least processed of teas it also retains high levels of antioxidants.

This person drifted back to sleep and woke to have a second cup feeling remarkably better. At breakfast they were able to enjoy fruit juice and smoked salmon eggs Benedict without the least tummy twinge.

Whilst no one would recommend poisoning yourself with a toxic mix of alcohols - if you were ever to do so I do recommend
white silver tip tea.
