Limited Edition White Darjeeling
I have found something really wonderful: White teas so rare that only a few kilos exist.
Please don’t think its just because they’re rare that they are special. They’re rare because they’re so special.
Single estate, white, first flush, whole leaf Darjeeling.
I know that’s a lot to take in.
Single Estate:
They come from three separate estates that are pioneering premium white tea production in Darjeeling. (Not the shoddy industrial stuff that is being stuffed into tea bags, beautifully packaged and foisted on an unsuspecting public.)
White:
The tea is not processed its just dried. It retains the freshest taste and the most antioxidants. It doesn’t have the heavy tannin bite of a black tea that has been through the rough and tumble of machine fermentation nor the developed flavour of oxidized green tea. It is tea in its most natural state. Delicate and delicious.
First flush:
The first spring harvest of the tea bushes. The most tender leaves.
Whole leaf:
Like all our teas these Darjeelings are not broken bits of leaf and stem. These teas comprise just the whole beautiful leaves.
This stuff is really good.
