Leafy Pu'er

We expected to find our ideal pu'er in China and our search had been exclusively focused in Asia. But on her last trip to Satemwa in Malawi, Henrietta tried a pu'er so soft and yet so rich she was truly amazed.

Celebrated for their deep earth notes pu'ers can be challenging and sometimes a little muddy.

What they have crafted on Satemwa is something deep, complex and yet beautifully clean.  It's more reminisent of silky rain water than muddy puddles. These leaves hold the wonderful flavours of fresh earth after rain and autumn forests
