Emperor's Breakfast is a black China tea originating in the Ming Dynasty. 
These are the precious leaves that British tea clippers raced across the oceans to bring back to Britain in the 18th Century. 

 

Whole leaves and golden buds create ablack tea that is remarkably delicate and sweet with a unique depth of flavour and complexity. 
Deep malty notes and delicious caramel flavours are revealed.

This single estate tea is carefully grown, harvested and painstakingly hand crafted to be the perfect black tea.

 

Of course, in time honoured tradition, you are more than welcome to blend our teas at home. Before the advent of tea-bags, containing their sealed contents of up to 60 teas, we blended our teas at home straight into the pot to our personal preferences.  We recommend adding a spoon of Lost Malawi or Second Flush Muscatel Darjeeling if you're feeling adventurous. 

 

These whole leaves can be re-infused. The second infusion is even better than the first.
