Tasting Notes
The unique flavour of one the rarest and exquisite green teas lies somewhere between the succulent vegetal notes of buttery asparagus found in Japanese Sencha and the hazelnutty richness of Chinese Longjing.
A velvety soft mouth feel with notes of ripe gooseberries and pineapple cake.

As with all our exquisite loose leaf green teas, we recommend using lower temperature water. For Waikato Green we'd recommend trying a lower temperature (around 65°C/149°F) and a longer steep (around 2 minutes), but please do experiment with higher temperatures and a shorter infusion to bring out the flavours you most enjoy.
