fabulous mint

I bought this earlier in the year and then it went out of stock - as soon as it came back in I snaffled lots more :) for me it is simply the best peppermint tea. I also buy the green tea and mint and that is also delightful

Sublime - possibly the most beautiful tea you will ever have the pleasure of tasting

This truly is one of the best teas I have ever tasted. Every time is like the first time, it makes me want more. Alas, all packs do come again....thank goodness I cam reorder and reorder and reorder! Herbaceous and high levels of essential oils make this beyond invigorating, try this. You will NOT be disappointed!

Delicious depth of flavour

Three things you need to know about this tea: 1) It is not at all toothpastey 2) It has a good solid menthol hit but it's clean and controlled 3) It has a real depth of herbaceous flavour underneath the minty cool-hot kick In other words, it's absolutely delicious.

Tasting Notes

Rich menthol aromas and a clean, smooth flavour.

Quantity

Use 1g of tea per 150ml of water.

Temperature

For the optimum infusion use 100°C (212°F) water.

Time

Infuse for 30 seconds - 2 minutes, tasting regularly to find your optimum time.

Infusions

You can infuse these leaves at least three times. With each careful infusion, different subtleties of flavour are revealed.

Peppermint – Mentha Balsamea is a naturally occurring hybrid of watermint and spearmint. This is a native European species and is one of the oldest known plants used for herbal tea, cooking and medicinally.

Uplifting without caffeine, peppermint aids digestion and sweetens the breath.

Grown in the Beira Baixa Province of Portugal - set between Tejo Nature Park and UNESCO recognised Naturetejo Geopark.

In this beautiful natural area, on a small, sustainable organic farm – this stunning peppermint is grown with love and care.

Just as terroir - the land and individual environment characteristic that makes each field and farm unique - plays an important part in the flavour of tea, or wine, so it does for herbs.
