Rare Lapsang Souchong Loose Leaf Black Tea
A Lapsang loose leaf tea unlike any other. Made using traditional methods, the fresh leaf is smoked over pine wood. Singularly rich and profoundly delicious.
Made to exacting, traditional methods this tea is grown in the Wuyi Mountains on the northern border of Fujian, and carefully smoked over pinewood. Only wood that's been stripped of bark is used, allowing the tea to take on a subtle smokiness without any heavy tarry notes. It has the aroma of an autumn bonfire rather than the rapacious punch of our Tarry Lapsang Souchong.

Lapsang Souchong
A lovely tea with that extra smoky detail, which does not overwhelm the flavour.
Oh… what a treat
I am a gardener and while working outside I am in big need for a drink that will be not only warm but a drink that will help me to recharge and pause for a moment. This is my perfect tea for autumn and winter, on its own or with drop of hot soya milk , with cheeky splash of wiskey or rum after work for extra w atm up You can drink it in so many ways that you will surprise. Mix with good earl grey for example or… ok, will stop now! Explore and enjoy! Beautiful tea with good story behind. Thank you.
Rare Lapsang Souchong
I was a tea fanatic and travelled with my tea tins through the world. Thirty years ago, however, my tastes somehow changed and I switched on to coffee... Nevertheless, I am not content without tea; so when I go to London I go to Fortnum's and buy myself a tin or two. It is, nonetheless, not the same; I just cannot find that passion any more... Some time ago I was given your name by a close friend and I ordered three different teas from you. Good, no doubt. But the Lapsang Souchong left me nostalgic for the old Fortnum's choice. Somhow it seems less full, less bodied... I don't know, perhaps it merely has to do with the fact that, as we all do, we change with time and do do our personal tastes and preferences. I will, at any rate, keep on having it from time to time until I reacquire my zest for tea. Whatever it may be, your teas are certainly extremely good quality!
Very good Lapsang
Mellow but flavoursome, a lovely tea
